For Memorial day Kory's family has a tradition that they started years ago to go hiking. This year we went to Waterfall Canyon. It was beautiful. It was so great to get out into the mountains on a sunny day (finally) and enjoy the weather and nature.

Hailee LOVED the hike! (Who wouldn't love being carried around up a mountain and rocked to sleep).
She actually stayed awake for the best parts... and fell asleep the whole way back.

Later on, my sisters Corie and Sabrina, and their families came up and all of us had a huge barbecue feast and went riding on the Jones' horses.
To Kory's family, Riding on horses around the the pasture is no big deal but to the rest of us "City Slickers" It was a real treat! Especially for this little girl... (Emmi- Sabrina's little girl)
She was so excited. It made my day just seeing how happy she was to be sitting on that horse.

What a fun day!! Brian and the kids spent the day cleaning cars. :) I think they'd have rather spent the day like you guys did.
